Blockchain analysts have detected multiple Ethereum (ETH) transactions from a wallet associated with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin during September 2023, totaling over $3.9 million.

Additionally, one notable transaction involved the transfer of 400 ETH, valued at approximately $632,000, from Buterin’s wallet to Coinbase on September 25.

Series of Ethereum (ETH) Deposits

Reports indicate that this recent transfer is part of a series of ethereum deposits that Buterin has made to centralized exchanges in the past 10 days. Moreover, the blockchain analytics platform, Spot On Chain, estimates that Buterin has deposited a total of 2,421 ETH, which is equivalent to $3.94 million, starting from September 15.

Furthermore, the breakdown of these deposits includes 321 ethereum sent to Kraken between September 15 and September 19. On September 17 and September 20, Buterin reportedly deposited a total of 1,700 ETH to Bitstamp in several transactions.

Additionally, on September 19, he deposited 500 ETH to Paxos. Notably, the data also reveals a transfer of 2,000 ETH, valued at $4.9 million to the address responsible for these transactions.

Further, Spot On Chain highlights that the source of the 2,000 Ethereum transaction belongs to Buterin and is better known than the intermediary address (0x5567A4bE2D5b77F5Fd870f99Ed9167Feab8831B1) to be responsible for moving funds to various exchanges.
