In an exciting update, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, announced in a blog post on July 6 that the team is gearing up for the release of Shibarium, the highly anticipated layer 2 solution. This momentous occasion will coincide with the Blockchain Futurist Conference, ETHToronto, and ETHWomen hackathons scheduled to take place in August 2023 in Canada.y
Kusama emphasized the significance of this event. This is because it aligns perfectly with Shiba Inu’s third anniversary and is set to unfold in the birthplace of Ethereum. The developer expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming conference and its potential to showcase the achievements of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Shiba Inu Ecosystem: Title Sponsor of Blockchain Futurist Conference and Official Hackathons
Kusama further revealed that the Shiba Inu ecosystem will proudly serve as the title sponsor for the Blockchain Futurist Conference. Additionally, it will extend its support to the official hackathons, ETHToronto and ETHWomen. Kusama himself will be present at the conference. He will be delivering a speech through artificial intelligence technology on the day of the Shibarium release.
Unveiling the World Paper and New Projects
The conference will be a platform for the presentation of the “world paper” of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Additionally, it will be for unveiling new projects, and providing comprehensive details about the Treat token for the first time. Attendees can expect a deep dive into the exciting developments within the ecosystem.
During the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Shibarium will host a hackathon spanning several months. The event will feature two dedicated booths. These booths will showcase Shibarium itself, as well as a wide range of Shiba Inu-themed products, platforms, and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis, and much more.
Collaborations and Partnerships in the Shiba Inu Community
The Shiba Inu community is known for its diverse tokens, each playing a specific role. Shiba Inu SHIB token governs the overall community, while the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token supports and oversees the technology aspect of Shibarium. The Doge Killer (Leash) token is responsible for community protection and exclusivity. Lastly, the Treat token will serve as the governing force for community projects.
Kusama outlined the governance structure of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Thi includes the Doggy DAO responsible for governing the entire ecosystem. Additionally, the Shib Doggy DAO Foundation will execute decisions made by the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and manage its assets.
To ensure fairness and equal representation, the governance will be divided into four separate entities, with each core token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem having its own DAO.
