One of the standout features of the new app is its integrated swap capability. It allows users to execute decentralized exchanges (DEX) without the need for a separate web browser extension. Initially introduced in a closed beta phase on Oct.12, the Android version is now accessible to the wider public. Building on valuable insights from user feedback, the Uniswap team has refined the app’s design and functionality. Notably, the iOS version was released in April, marking Uniswap’s dedication to catering to diverse user preferences.
Multilingual Support and Enhanced User Experience
Responding to user needs, Uniswap has expanded language support, now accommodating English, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, French, and both traditional and simplified Chinese. In a bid to enhance accessibility, the app also allows users to view their crypto holdings in their local currency. This will further provide a more personalized and user-centric experience.

As a testament to Uniswap’s influence in the decentralized finance space, the platform currently boasts over $3 billion in cryptocurrency locked up in its contracts. Governed by the Uniswap decentralized autonomous organization (UniswapDAO), the DEX has consistently proven its reliability and resilience in the ever-evolving crypto landscape.

Capuozzo emphasized the high demand for an Android version, citing constant inquiries from the community.
